Management expenses are one of the biggest concerns of many organizations where many are looking at innovative and creative ideas to minimize expenses and yet without compromising the productivity and performance of the employees. With today’s volatile economy, employees are required to perform more than what is perhaps required of them years ago. And hence, many employees would have to put wellness and fitness as their second priority. This may eventually lead to an increase in the company’s expenditure on medical bills. Much time are wasted with employees taking MCs and incurring high medical bills in each month. Prevention is better than cure. Therefore, it is advisable to educate all employees on the importance of being fit and healthy as this will not only benefit the employees but the organization in the long run.   

The ultimate focus will be on wellness and fitness as we aim to help the client to save millions of ringgit on medical expenses. This unconventional training aims to help participants to be aware of the importance of living a balance lifestyle which includes having the right mindset to transform their life to be better, taking the right nutrition and performing physical activities that could help them to be more productive in their daily work. We also aim to encourage employee to utilize the gym provided.

Jackson uses a method called THE Life Record Card. During the training, all employees will examine their lifestyles and daily food habits and will be educated on many practical steps and areas of becoming healthier, younger, slimmer and stronger. This training will provide them:

    Note: Participants will go through some activities in the session
    Purpose : participants will be aware that they need to change their lifestyle in order to gain new results

 

MODULE TWO: THE WELLNESS MINDSET FOR SUCCESS

  • 7 simple steps to becoming healthy
  • How to be a healthy person at work
  • OVERCOMING self-limiting belief on wellness
  • Changing your mindset about health

 

MODULE THREE: HEAD2TOE HEALTH SCREENING

  • Health screening methods
  • Body Mass Index (BMI)- Scales and Stadiometer
  • Blood Pressure Screening – Blood Pressure Monitor
  • Stress Test – Questionnaire Self-Assessment
    Purpose: this is to let the participants know their own health status

 

MODULE FOUR: BENEFITS OF BECOMING THE NEW YOU

  • The possible rewards of becoming healthy
  • The proven examples of real people on weight loss
  • The reflection of 7 areas of life
  • The process of measuring 7 areas of life
    Note: Participants will do work-life balance scorecard in the session
    Purpose: this exercise is to allow participants to access their issue and causes of bad lifestyle

 

MODULE FIVE: NUTRITION AND PROPER DIET

  • The basic information on wellness programme
  • The right nutrition for everyone
  • The good/bad choice of food and its consequence
  • The acidic and alkaline body
  • The 10 steps to simple and proven healthy eating diet
  • The choice of drinking water
    Note: Participants will be shown samples of nutrition
    Purpose: this part is to educate participants on eating right and choosing their food carefully

 

MODULE SIX : SLEEP MANAGEMENT

  • 10 things to create The ideal room environment for sleeping
  • 10 things to avoid before and during sleep
  • Tips to overcome insomnia
  • Know your sleep pattern and time
  • The consequence of inconsistent sleep pattern
    Purpose: we spend 8 hours of sleep everyday. Many people have distraction before and during sleep time. This is to transform their room environment and sleep pattern to allow maximum sleep.

 

MODULE SEVEN: PHYSICAL FITNESS AND WELLNESS FORMULA

  • The importance of exercise and how to do it on a daily basis
  • The 10 methods of doing wellness programme in your own time and your own home
  • The 10 choices of daily exercise routine for busy working people
  • The practical steps to transforming yor health
    Note: Participants will be shown a choice of keeping fit and healthy routine (Exercise, Dance, Zumba)
    Purpose : this is to show participants the simplicity of doing Core muscle exercise ( tummy area) at any convenient

 

MODULE EIGHT : LIFESTYLE TRANSFORMATION STRATEGIES

  • Identifying the issues faced by participants (sharing by participants are optional)
  • How to handle issues (group and personal coaching begins)
  • Steps and strategies to quit bad habits (smoking, drinking, gambling, etc.)
    Note: Participants will learn and experience habit transformation coaching session
    Purpose: this part is may be the most important section. It allows participants to ask specific questions regarding health issues and steps to overcome them.

 

MODULE NINE : STRESS MANAGEMENT

  • Understand the cause of stress
  • Methods to overcome stress in 7 days
  • Overcoming insomnia and mild depression
  • 12 proven ways how to deal with stress at work and in life
    Purpose : As we know stress is one key causes for ill health, participants will learn how to overcome stress and how to manage them

 

MODULE TEN : NEW WELLNESS GOAL SETTING

  • Identifying your current achievement using JACKSON LIFE RECORD CARD
  • Action Plan to make important changes
  • Understand how to measure success within 30-60 days after training
    Purpose : at the end of day 2, participants will fill in 60 day challenge log book and know specifically on how to reach ideal BMI.

After this powerful programme, participants will embrace THE NEW YOU CONCEPT to transform their health. They will be very clear about what to do to change their current lifestyle in terms of wellness and fitness. Participants will learn to pick and choose their food wisely and where possible, perform and engage in various fitness activities and make use of the company gym. Participants can expect a drop in their BMI level through the scheduled physical activity by certified trainer across the six weeks period.
